The below is applicable to all transactions made at one of our physical stores.

We accept returns and exchanges only if the invoice, product and all product packaging, without any damage, is presented.


Exchange Policies:

  • Exchanges within 30 days of purchase date

  • All exchanges are to be made at store of purchase

  • No returns or exchanges on past due, corporate, sale, branded, discounted and specially manufactured items


Refund Policy:

  • Goodwill refunds to be requested within 10 days of purchase and is subject to a handling fee (max 10%)

  • All refunds require an application made in-store (at store of original purchase)

  • Refunds can only be processed on weekdays between 09:00am & 17:00pm (not on weekends or public holidays)

  • Refunds will be made via EFT (deposited into your account) and may take up to 7 days to reflect in account 

  • We regret no refunds on Gift Cards (vouchers) or gift purchases

  • Fraud prevention requires, all refunds to be made to original purchaser only (not to a gift recipient, friend or family member)

  • With all refunds processed, we will charge a *handling fee (max 10%) with your refund to recuperate the charges we had and have to pay towards the bank. These are the bank charges, excluding VAT, we incur when doing the purchase transaction. See Handling Fees below

  • No refunds on past due, corporate, sale, branded, discounted and specially manufactured items


Handling Fees:

With all refunds processed, we will charge a bank commission charge with your refund to recuperate the charges we had and have to pay towards the bank. These are the bank charges excluding VAT we incur when doing the purchase transaction. A 3% handling fee will automatically be included for all transactions. All refund handling fees are capped at 10%.

Product Guarantee:

  • All our items (excluding sale and discounted goods) come with a standard Consumer Protection Act six-month guarantee and no additional guarantees apply

  • The guarantee excludes the following: refills, paintwork & lacquer, clips on pens, nibs, cracks, scratches, dents and abuse or misuse by the owner

  • Our guarantee does not cover damage caused by wear and tear. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal wear or ageing of the product

  • Should a product qualify for cover under our guarantee, then Campo Marzio shall first attempt the repair of the item, before considering replacing the product

  • Should the need arise to replace a product then we shall replace the item with a suitable or similar item at same value and cannot guarantee that we can replace the item with the exact same as originally purchased

  • Genuine leather and Eco-Leather is irreparable if torn, scratched, peeled or discoloured

  • We do not offer or do in-house repairs on our products

  • We do not offer any repair services for out-of-warranty items. We recommend, at your own risk, that you use a reputable leather bag & shoe repair business for your product repairs


Product Care:

  • We recommended cleaning your product/s with a soft damp cloth without any abrasives or chemicals (water only)

  • Avoid rubbing or scratching your product/s when cleaning, as this may damage and pierce the top protective layer. 

  • Scratches on pens may pierce the lacquer and eventually cause the paint to chip or peel off the base of the pen. We recommend safely storing your pen in a suitable pen case to keep it from being scratched and causing damage to the paint lacquer. 

  • Unfortunately, pen or ink marks cannot be removed from any product

  • Natural untreated (raw) or genuine leather will darken with age or when exposed to moisture

  • Maximum weight limit of 8 kilograms for our bags. We urge all our customers to not overload their laptop bags, totes or briefcases. Our bags go through a 8 kg resistance test on shoulder straps and handles

  • Abuse or misuse by the owner will void the guarantee and any repair costs will be for the owner’s account, if and where applicable

Large Purchase or Order Policy (B2B):

  • All business-to-business orders require a 50% deposit, before they will be processed and invoiced

  • Gift Wrap: If applicable. Campo Marzio charges a levy for gift-wrapping at R10 per item after an initial 10 items. It needs to be communicated if gift wrapping is required. Products come packaged in either carton box or dust bag, with the exception of paper and smaller products

  • Shopping bags are automatically excluded from quotations. If shopping bags are required for each item, additional charges shall then apply

  • Branding: If applicable. Corporate branding is only possible with production orders and MOQ shall apply. MOQ are dependent on the product. Minimum lead time is 70 days, unless specified. If applicable, client will receive a digital sample for approval. Vector images are required of your logo for branding. We would not accept any returns on any item which is branded and accept no responsibility for any quality issues that might arise from doing your own branding

  • Return Policy: In addition to our standard return policies of above, the following policies apply to all order requests: Regret; no returns, refunds or exchanges on corporate, branded, discounted and specially manufactured items

  • Errors and Omissions Excepted

Lay-By Policy:

  • All lay-bys are upon application only and must made in-store

  • Lay-bys are only applicable to available, current and in-store products or collections

  • We only accept card payments for a lay-by agreement. This includes the deposit and subsequent payments.

  • We, the retailer, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act may retain 10 percent of the purchase price of the goods, if this agreement is cancelled by you, the customer, or if this agreement was breached (not paid by due date)

  • Campo Marzio may at its own discretion and without notification reduce the price of the product/s, without you, the customer, being entitled to a reduction in price. (i.e the price you pay, is the price as per the date of the agreement)

  • In the same way, the customer is not liable for any increases in the price of the product when the price of the product/s increase

  • We only allow for lay-by’s for a period of 2 months from date of the agreement

  • If the goods have not been paid in full within the 60 days from date of agreement, we reserve the right to cancel the agreement and refund you, the customer the funds already paid less 10% of the product value

  • We will give notice of our intention to cancel the agreement by giving no less than 7 days’ notice by E-mail or SMS

  • The goods remain the property of Campo Marzio and in our safe possession until the goods have been paid in full and an invoice is issued to you upon final payment

  • We, the retailer, require at least 7 days’ notice if you wish to cancel your agreement. We require notice by E-mail. You will be refunded via EFT (see refund policy) and you should allow up to 7 days for the refund to reflect in your account. Kindly E-mail: 

  • All notices by us, the retailer, will be sent to you, the customer, via E-mail or SMS


  • Clean your product at own risk. It is the responsibility of the user to at all times care for their item as recommended and to prevent damage where possible

  • We define the word “leather" as products made of genuine calf or man-made (faux/eco) leathers. Leather does not necessarily refer to animal derived hides only and faux or man-made materials representing or imitating leather may also be called “leather” by our brand. "Eco-Leather" will refer to faux or PU leather and "Genuine Leather" will refer to calf hide (animal derived)

  • We attempt to be as accurate as possible, however, we do not warrant that descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free



  • Use product/s at own risk and keep out of reach of children

  • Pens: May naturally leak when exposed to pressure or heat - avoid pen use on aeroplanes. Pens are sharp objects - keep out of reach of children!

  • Inks/Refills: Avoid contact with eyes. If swallowed, seek medical attention and call poison control. May be flammable when exposed to flames

  • Dispose of all products in responsible and eco-friendly methods

  • Do not expose any products to sun or heat, as this may damage your product!
