ONLINE ORDER POLICIES & TERMS

Order Policy​

Campo Marzio gladly accepts merchandise for return within a specified time, please read or policies below for all the information.

​

  • The below is only applicable to online purchases and not in-store purchases. All in-store purchases must be returned in person to the store where the item was purchased with the invoice and separate return policies are applicable. See in-store purchase policy here.

  • Orders are only processed on business days, Monday to Friday

  • For next day delivery (business days), please place your order by 13:00

  • Upon paying for any order, you shall automatically agree to our policies and terms mentioned herein and of this website

  • We attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered is itself not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition by following our return’s policy as per below.

 

Although the manufacturers and designers of Campo Marzio take all necessary steps to produce all products with equal quality and similarity; we fully stress that Campo Marzio products might have slight variations. By purchasing online, although we would always take all reasonable steps to ensure that your product ordered online is of the same and exact quality as we would see it to be displayed online, we ask that you however acknowledge that from time-to-time the colours of the products might slightly vary in contrasts from one another and Campo Marzio shall not warrant this as a manufacturing defect. The grains of leather products and textures of products might also slightly vary from one another and Campo Marzio shall also not warrant this as a manufacturing defect. If you are unhappy with any item received, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition by following our return’s policy as per below.

DISCLAIMER:We define the word “Leather" as products made of genuine calf OR man-made (faux/Eco) leathers. Leather does not necessarily refer to animal derived hides only and faux or man-made materials representing or imitating leather may also be called “Leather” by our brand and on this site. On this site the words "Eco-Leather" will refer to faux or PU leather and "Genuine Leather" will refer to calf hide (animal derived). We attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

Deliveries

​

Shipping (courier) to major centres in South Africa only.

​

  • Free deliveries within 1-3 business days for orders of R500 or more to any major South African destination. Outlying areas may take up to 5 business days

  • For orders of R499.99 or less, a R100 courier fee is applicable 

  • Our cut off time is 13:00 weekdays for orders to be delivered by 12:00, the following business day

  • We only ship to major centres with a courier service. This includes any destination within a 50 km radius of the following areas: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Polokwane, Rustenburg, Nelspruit, Vaal Triangle, Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, George, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Stellenbosch and Richards Bay.

  • For delivery to rural areas, or areas not listed as a major centre above, please contact us directly before placing your order

  • We only ship to physical address locations and not to PO Boxes or post boxes. The recipient would need to sign the delivery receipt from the courier service and therefore we ask you to choose your delivery destination as the place where the recipient would physically be present at the day your delivery is expected

  • In the event of your parcel requiring a dedicated special trip to deliver the shipment, additional charges may be levied. Examples of special delivery areas include: Mines, Power Stations, Plots/Farms, Military Bases, Game Lodges, Ports/Harbours, Embassies and Consulates. In this instance, you will be contacted prior to delivery.

If you are unhappy with the courier service experienced, we kindly ask that you contact us and to elaborate on the topic, we would then forward you discontentedness to the service provider and put you in touch with them directly.

Pick-Up (collection from store)

​

Orders may also be collected in person from our Campo Marzio Cape Quarter, Cape Town store ONLY at no additional cost.

​

  • Please choose your collection day and time during check-out

  • Once you have placed your order, please wait for our confirmation email notification, “Your Order is Ready for Pickup”, before coming to collect

  • Should your order be delayed for any reason beyond our control, then we will communicate such delays with you, prior to the collection day

​

Cancellations

​

For cancellations, please immediately email online@campomarzio.co.za or click the button at the bottom of the page

​

  • Orders may only be cancelled the same day, subject to the order not yet collected by the courier

  • No cancellations after order has been dispatched, please refer to return policy below

  • Should a refund be requested for a cancellation, note that it may take a minimum of 7 days for the refund to be processed and reflect in your account

Returns & Exchanges

​

For all exchanges and returns, please email online@campomarzio.co.za or click the button at the bottom of the page

  • Exchanges are within 7 days of ordered date. The customer is liable for returning the product for an exchange and will note that all courier fees for the exchange is for the customer's account

  • Previous paid shipping charges are non-refundable

  • We accept returns and exchanges, as long as the product/s are in their original packaging without any damage to the packaging

  • For exchanges, we will issue credit vouchers to the original purchase value, which will be redeemable against your new order

  • Should the incorrect product be dispatched or the product is damaged or defective, then we will happily arrange collection from the customer and send a new replacement order at no additional fees. The customer should immediately (within 24 hours) inform us upon receiving a defect or damaged product

  • The product is still solely the customer's responsibility until we have signed the delivery receipt from whatsoever organisation the customer used for the return. We suggest that customers courier the return with a reputable courier service

Return Options:

​

1. Return parcel to our store

You may return your online purchase to one of our retail store locations. Please be aware of the fact that our retail store associates are unable to issue credit to your credit or cheque card in the store for the return of an online purchase. Our associates will forward your package to the online department as a convenience to our customers and your return will be processed within due time.

​

2. Return parcel via a courier

You may return the item via courier to the address stipulated below. You shall acknowledge that shipping charges for returning the item are for the customer's account. We are not responsible for making sure your product will be returned to us in due time & take no liability whatsoever in the means and or method you use to return your product. We however suggest that you courier your item with a reputable courier service.

Need a courier for your return?​ We suggest using Aramex Store-to-Door Courier service, where you can buy a courier sleeve for R99 from a Pick 'n Pay store, fill our delivery address and drop the item in their provided box.

Refunds & Goodwill Refunds

​

For refunds, please email online@campomarzio.co.za or click the button at the bottom of the page

  • Refunds are within 7 days of ordered date. The customer is liable for returning the product for a refund and will note that all courier fees for the return is for the customer's account. See our Return Policies above

  • Previous paid shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Refunds are possible as long as the product/s are sealed in their original packaging without any damage to the packaging

  • Should a refund be requested for a defect or damaged item, note that it may take a minimum of 7 days for the refund to be processed and reflect in your account. The patient should immediately (within 24 hours) inform us upon receiving a defect or damaged product

  • Goodwill refunds will be less the courier charges and less a 10% handling fee

  • The product is still solely the customer's responsibility until we have signed the delivery receipt from whatsoever organisation the customer used for the return. We suggest that customers courier the return with a reputable courier service​

Online Payments

All online order payment are processed through PayFast, which offers multiple payment options that instantly notifies us of your payment. All of the following options are available to you, to pay for your order:

Credit or Cheque Cards

Pay via your VISA, MasterCard credit or cheque cards

Zapper

Pay using the 'scan to pay’ Zapper app by clicking on the Zapper tab and following the instructions.

Secure payment processing with PayFast

​

  • All our online transactions are processed safely and securely with PayFast, used and trusted by many well known national and international organisations

  • PayFast is committed to keeping you and your information secure. PayFast has a multitude of checks in place to protect both buyers and sellers from fraudulent transactions

  • PayFast use Extended Validation SSL with 2048-bit encryption, the highest level encryption available

  • PayFast is PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliant

  • 3D Secure is in place for all credit card transactions. 3D Secure is an extra layer of security in using your credit card for online transactions

  • All sensitive info is encrypted within PayFast's own database

  • PayFast runs penetration testing on their system on a weekly basis to look for vulnerabilities

  • PayFast's entire site, blog and help site are served off secure servers, making it harder to perpetrate phishing attacks

  • PayFast has an excellent monitoring system that does, among other things: GEO IP tracking, velocity testing, BIN/IIN validation and checks against online database

Note for online orders: In the event Campo Marzio replaces an item before the expiry of the guarantee, Campo Marzio will pay the full courier costs involved in sending the item, but not returning the item from customer to store.
